The Challenge
Ekobryggeriet is an organic tonic brand, prepared in Sweden and developed for the Nordic market. With a view of getting their drinks range into foodservice – specifically bars and restaurants – Nordic Tonic contacted us to help find a suitable sector distributor.
Ultimately, HRA Global and Ekobryggeriet were tasked with making a mark here in the UK, after together achieving their exporting to the UK goals.
The Strategy
We firstly worked to map the UK market for tonics, honing in on the premium end of the market, to identify the best space for Ekobryggeriet to play in both the retail and foodservice markets.
We then used our extensive knowledge of the market and trade contacts to advise on route and entry to the UK market, pairing Ekobryggeriet with suitable commercial partners.
In addition, we also worked with the brand to ‘localise’ their food packaging design for the UK market.
